Thalía Salvatore, owner of Thalía Salon of Yardley, started her career in beauty nearly 25 years ago. She earned her first industry job as an assistant at a neighborhood shop across the street from her parents’ restaurant. Even so, her interest in haircare went back much farther. “Thalía Salon was born out of a desire to create a high-end, intentional beauty experience in Yardley,” Thalía shares. “Over the years, we have refined not only our craft but our standards as well, with a focus on customization, consistency, and hair health. We are thrilled to be growing into a modern luxury salon that combines expertise, eco-friendliness, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. “I always wanted to do hair and own a salon, even from as early as the second grade,” she continues. “I have a bunch of entrepreneurs throughout my family, and so it was always something I strived to do.” A skilled hairdresser herself, Thalía honed her skills in salons in both the Philadelphia area and South Florida. Six years ago she opened her shop in Bucks County, Thalía Salon of Yardley. Her goal: “to create a space where people could feel elevated and taken care of without feeling rushed, or like it’s a transactional experience.” “I wanted an environment where clients felt refined and still warm,” she explains. “I like the whole luxury feel—I want clients to feel like they’re in this great place—but I also don’t want them to feel intimidated coming in. I still want it to be a very fun and welcoming atmosphere.” And that’s exactly what Thalía has cultivated in the salon that bears her name.
