UFOs Over Bucks County

Recent reports ignite our imagination and remind us there’s so much we don’t understand.
UFOs Over Bucks County

It’s a crisp January night in Bucks County, Pennsylvania—the kind of night that the air feels alive with electricity. My team and I are standing in an open backyard at a home with our camera, curiosity, and, of course, a thermos full of coffee. This is Eric Mintel Investigates , and tonight, we’re on the hunt for the unexplained. I’m not here to convince you that ETs are among us (though I wouldn’t mind shaking hands with them). I’m here because there are stories that beg to be told, mysteries that need unraveling, and evidence that—when caught on camera—can make even the most skeptical among us do a double take. This particular investigation started with a call from a gentleman in Ottsville, Pennsylvania. He and his wife had been seeing strange lights in the sky from their backyard for the past two years and wanted us to investigate. The UFOs were dancing, darting, and defying the laws of physics. Naturally, we had to check it out. This was January of 2023. The previous spring, I had received reports of a brightly lit object with multiple lights, hovering silently over the Bucks County area. I had people sending me drawings and photos of what they were seeing. When I got this call, I thought: It’s back! With a healthy dose of skepticism and curiosity, we headed to his home. We met with the witness and his wife. He showed me a video he had captured of an object that looked like a bright orb pulsating across the night sky—the same thing other people were seeing. We set up our camera, the homeowner grabbed his binoculars, and we all began scanning the skies for any activity. Suddenly, as the witness pointed to what he had seen, a light appeared in the sky. It blinked on as if someone flipped a switch. At first, we thought it was a plane, but it wasn’t moving. It blinked on, then blinked off. My heart raced as I fumbled with my camera. “Did anyone else see that?” I shouted. When I played back the footage, there it was! We caught it on video! It’s featured on my YouTube channel in the video titled, “UFOs Over Bucks County!” We still scratch our heads about this video investigation. Seeing that kind of footage makes skeptics squint and believers cheer. This was truly unexplainable. After the light disappeared, we scoured the sky for more activity. Unfortunately, nothing else appeared that night. But when you’re knee-deep in UFO territory, you keep looking up. Fortunately the reports kept rolling in to Eric Mintel Investigates headquarters. Let’s fast forward to the latter part of 2024, when unexplained lights and “drones” were spotted all over Bucks County and New Jersey. Witnesses reported lights that changed shape, made no sound, and, most importantly, the FAA said they had no transponder identifiers if they were “drones” as was the consensus. Of course, there are always skeptics. “It’s probably just a military drone,” they say. And hey, maybe it is. But even if it is, no one is telling us. Why would someone fly a drone in the middle of nowhere, in the dead of night, without any logical purpose? And not just one drone—we’re talking hundreds of sightings. How do you explain precise, intelligent movement patterns? These aren’t questions with easy answers, and that’s what makes this field of investigation so fascinating. For me, it’s not about proving or disproving anything. It’s about the chase, the mystery, and those moments that make you question what we think we know about our world. Whether it’s UFOs, ghosts, Bigfoot, or Dogman (more on Dogman encounters in a future column), the stories I investigate all have one thing in common: They ignite our imagination and remind us there’s still so much out there we don’t understand. As for those lights over Bucks County? I’ll let you decide what they were. Maybe they were visitors from another galaxy, curious about life on Earth. Or maybe they were something else entirely, something we don’t have a name for yet. Either way, the experience was unforgettable. The thrill of seeing the UFO, capturing it on camera, and piecing together the puzzle is what keeps me—and my team—coming back for more. So the next time you’re out on a quiet night, staring up at the stars, you never know what you might see. And if you do catch a glimpse of something extraordinary, don’t forget to grab your camera—or better yet, call me. Eric Mintel Investigates is always open for the next great mystery.
